The University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) delivers high quality and distinctive educational programmes for adult learners, predominantly studying on a part-time basis, for either personal enrichment or professional development. ICE aims to ensure that the expertise and resources of the University of Cambridge are made available to all students, irrespective of their previous educational achievements.

The Medicine, Health and Life Sciences Portfolio includes a range of undergraduate and post graduate courses including the Medical Education Programme.

To support the further development of the portfolio we are seeking a suitably qualified, enthusiastic team member to undertake the role of Assistant Teaching Professor in Medical Education. The role holder will work collaboratively to lead the development, orchestration, teaching, and ongoing evaluation and improvement of the Institute of Continuing Education's Post Graduate Diploma and MSt in Medical Education suite. This will include the development of an element of online teaching delivery. The role holder will need to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure provision, management and marketing of high-quality academically rigorous teaching programmes compliant with University and external regulatory frameworks.

The successful candidate will have a recognised scholarly profile in Medical Education, as well as proven track record in delivering excellent learning and teaching and programme management. Candidates with experience of designing and delivering programmes for part-time postgraduate students in professional roles, as well as a commitment to work flexibly to meet the needs of our students are particularly encouraged to apply.
