We are looking for an Assistant Systems Librarian to join the University Libraries to provide quality service for Technology Support Services and/or other functional area(s).
The Role
The appointee will work under the general direction of the Associate Librarian, Technology Support Services. He/She will work closely with librarians and others across the Libraries' network. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintain high-quality and robust systems, which facilitate discovery of library resources and delivery of library services.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree, a recognised professional qualification in librarianship (M.L.S. or equivalent), and at least 3 years of appropriate experience in academic or research institutions.

What We Offer
The appointment will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
