Duties and Responsibilities

The successful applicant will work in the Jockey Club “Peace and Awareness” Mindfulness Culture in Schools Initiative under the Faculty of Social Sciences. The Initiative aims at studying and promoting mindfulness culture in Hong Kong schools. The appointee will be responsible for the smooth operation of the Initiative with major tasks including:

  • coordination of research, programme evaluation and neuropsychological experiments
  • conducting statistical analysis
  • compiling guidebook, mindfulness gathering packages, workshop manuals and research manuscripts
  • coordinating a team of research assistants and interns
  • any other duties as assigned
  • Requirements

  • a Master's degree or above in Psychology, Social Sciences or a related discipline
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua)
  • Good research skills in Psychology or Social Sciences
  • Proficient in SPSS, MS Excel and Chinese typing
  • Good publication record and expertise in Neuropsychology will be an advantage.

    The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary term basis until August 31, 2025.
