We are looking for an Assistant Registrar/Administrative Assistant I to join the Curriculum Development and Quality Assurance Section of the Registry.
The Role
The appointee is expected to provide strong administrative support in the areas of teaching and learning, as well as quality assurance and quality enhancement, inclusive of the work relating to the Teaching and Learning Quality Committee.
Qualifications and Qualities
Applicants should have a good university degree with not less than 10 years' relevant administrative experience, preferably in tertiary education. They should have a proven track record of leadership and a high capacity for independent action with sound judgement. An excellent command of English and Chinese, and outstanding analytical, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) are essential. Applicants with less experience may be considered for appointment as Administrative Assistant I.
What We Offer
The appointment will be made on a full-time fixed-term contract for 3 years, to commence from July 1, 2024 with the possibility of renewal. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 15% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits. Housing benefits will be provided for the Assistant Registrar rank.
