Job description

Faculty of Health and Life Sciences

This new full-time post is available from 1 May 2024 until 31 October 2025 on a fixed term basis.

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on site (Plymouth clinical trials unit) and some from home.

The post

The Faculty wishes to recruit Assistant Psychologists to provide essential frontline support to trial NHS site teams and Principal Investigators, and deliver the trial psychological therapy to participants. The role ensures the frontline delivery of the trial in a timely manner ensuring that trial activities are delivered to deadlines. The post will involve delivering the therapy and research for the study in the Plymouth Clinical Research Facility in Plymouth.

About you

The role would be suited to an enthusiastic and highly organised individual who is committed to ensuring that the objectives of the MORE-KARE trial are achieved.

The successful applicant will be able educated to degree level. Applicants will ideally hold a degree in Psychology or have an equivalent qualification/experience.
