| Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit | The Department of Computer Science at UNCG is a thriving department with an established, ABET- accredited B.S. degree program, and active M.S. and Ph.D. degree programs. The department continues to maintain a rigorous curriculum and strong research profile, responding to rapid changes in the field and increasing demands for computing research. It currently has 7 research-active tenured and tenure-track faculty members, as well as professional track and part-time faculty.
