Position Summary	The Department of Engineering at Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position with a start date of July 1, 2027. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong interest and commitment to undergraduate teaching excellence, develop a vibrant research program that integrates and cultivates talented undergraduate student researchers, and contribute to the institution and the profession through service.
Qualifications	A Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related engineering field is required for consideration. We invite applications from candidates with broad research interests in biomedical engineering, but those with expertise aligning with Bioinstrumentation, Biomechanics, Device Design, Bio-Imaging, and Medical Robotics are particularly encouraged to apply. These areas are critical for new medical innovations including smart wearable and implantable health monitoring devices, high precision surgical micro-tools, and advanced imaging systems, to name a few examples. The abundant Biomedical and healthcare facilities in the greater Hartford area provide excellent transdisciplinary research opportunities.
