About the Position 

The Bond University School of Psychology within the Faculty of Society and Design has established itself as a leader in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research. We offer a number of undergraduate and postgraduate study options, all of which are accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) and approved by the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA). Our Clinical Masters programs have College Course Approval with the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

We are currently seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor B – Psychology. We seek applications from candidates with a background in nutrition and mental health. This position will contribute to the Faculty of Society and Design’s teaching and research profile, engage other professional activities, and provide administrative support within the Faculty. The successful candidate will primarily be teaching into the Bachelor of Psychological Science and Honours Psychology programs but will also be expected to teach into other programs as required.

About the person

The successful candidate must be student focused and possess a strong teaching record along with evidence of experience in contemporary teaching methods such as active learning, small group learning, web-based learning and technology enhanced learning. The successful candidate will have experience of effective teaching into research methods and statistics subjects. The successful candidate will have a record of producing the highest quality research outputs commensurate with their level of appointment and an eagerness to contribute to the multi-discipline environment on offer in the Faculty of Society and Design.

Salary details

The salary for the position commences at $130,234.21 per annum plus 17.5% superannuation and will be negotiated commensurate on skills and experience.
