What will be your job?
Teaching in Czech and English at Bachelor's and Master's level;
supervising bachelor and master theses;
research activity;
Contribution to the provision of other tasks of the department (according
to the amount of employment).
Professional and personal prerequisites:
Education in social/political/cultural geography (MA, PhD);
Professional competences in the above-mentioned fields, with the ability
to lecture in some of the following areas: global geographical contexts of
environmental problems, spatial aspects of the relationship between humans
and nature, (post)development and postcolonial studies and issues of
global inequalities, sustainability in relation to space, issues of
climate change; or geographical contexts of everyday life and lifestyles
at the local level, urban-rural relations, etc.
Publications and potential for skills development;
experience of involvement in scientific research, including experience of
grant funding;
experience of teaching undergraduate courses and critical thinking;
Ability to lecture and publish scholarly texts in English.
