About the Psychology Department

Candidates will be joining a vibrant, growing, and highly engaged department. Psychology remains one of the largest and most dynamic majors at Judson University. In addition to the undergraduate major, the department offers a minor in Criminal Justice and works closely with Judson’s accredited Master’s in Clinical Counseling. Through our innovative Bridge Program, qualified students can take graduate-level courses during their junior and senior years. This enables students to complete nearly a full year of graduate coursework during their undergraduate studies, providing significant financial savings and accelerating their pathway toward clinical licensure.

Departmental strengths include a diverse faculty and student body, two practicing therapists on faculty, and a robust internship program that introduces students to diverse clinical and community sites aligned with their career goals. In addition to our four core faculty members, students benefit from courses taught by five adjunct professors who actively work in their respective clinical and professional fields.
