Assistant Manager / Senior Executive Assistant (at the rank of Executive Officer / Clerk I) in the School of Clinical Medicine of LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 531174) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor's degree or above in health sciences or related disciplines, with at least 4 years' work experience preferably in hospital or NGOs. They should have good communication, organizational, analytical and computer skills, an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and a strong sense of responsibility. Those with less experience/qualifications will be considered for appointment as Senior Executive Assistant, with opportunities for growth and development.

The HKU Jockey Club Centre for Clinical Innovation and Discovery (JCCCID), as a brand- new platform focusing on genomics and DNA technologies, is undertaking clinical research to develop precision diagnosis and medicine, advance cancer treatment and formulate new strategies for disease prevention. The HKU JCCCID also operates an endoscopy centre for conducting clinical research for members of high-risk families of colorectal cancer and providing colonoscopy screening to the public.

The appointee will join HKU Health System team as a coordinator and provide administrative support to JCCCID. He/She will promote the Centre's services, handle the finances and operation of the Centre, manage patient bookings and records, coordinate clinical studies, engage and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, handle both online and offline publicity and event activities, and perform any other office duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test.
