Assistant Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Engineering (Ref.: 524463) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two- year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor's degree, with at least 3 years' solid work experience, preferably in tertiary institutions. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); strong interpersonal, supervisory, organizational, problem- solving and communication skills; the ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines; and a strong sense of responsibility. They should also be a good team player with the ability to multitask and be attentive to details. Experience in the undergraduate recruitment and admissions would be advantageous.
The appointee will provide administrative support in undergraduate programme administration, including admissions, outreaching, new initiatives, student enrichment programmes, student affairs, and perform any other duties as assigned. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
