The School of Public Health at HKU houses six academic divisions and more than 300 staff. We are looking for an Assistant Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) to join the General Office and provide administrative support to the operations of the School.
The Role
The appointee will provide support to the administration of the School, mainly on human resources (hiring, selection, appointment, leave administration etc.) and financial management (accounting, budget, procurement etc.), as well as office operations, research administration, event organization, and other duties as assigned. He/She will be required to supervise junior staff, and work closely with research teams and administrative staff at the Faculty and University level. Working outside office hours and on the weekends may be required occasionally.

What We Offer
The appointment will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
