This new full time role is available from 1 November 2024 on a permanent basis.

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

Summary of the role

This role will work closely with the Senior Management Accountant (Strategic Costing) to manage and develop activity-based costing and pricing processes for both internal and external purposes. This is a key role supporting decision-making to achieve strategic financial sustainability goals. It is suitable for someone with an analytical mind-set and strong attention to detail. You will be a good communicator with excellent spreadsheet skills. This position will be based within the Strategic Costing team which forms part of the wider Financial Planning and Reporting function within FICS.

The ideal candidate will be a part qualified accountant with strong systems capability, good analytical and communication skills and a strong teamwork ethic and be comfortable with working in a changing environment.

You will report to the Senior Management Accountant (Strategic Costing), provide operational support to Facility Finance Administrators and work effectively with diverse colleagues across the University.
