Applications are invited for appointment as Assistant Lecturer/ Lecturer in the Teaching and Learning Innovation Centre (TALIC) (Ref.: 524399), to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should hold a doctoral degree in Education/Higher Education or a related discipline. They should have a strong pedagogical background and a proven track record in professional development. Additionally, applicants should possess expertise or interest in any of the following areas: assessment, feedback, technology enhanced learning, experiential learning, peer review, curriculum design, quality assurance, internationalisation, STEM education, 21st century skills. They should also have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams are essential qualifications for this position. Those with more experiences and/or higher qualifications may be considered for appointment as Lecturer.

The appointee will be responsible of providing support for the professional development of academic staff through various forms. This includes conducting seminars, workshops and courses; advising with teachers across different faculties on curriculum and teaching and learning innovation; and actively engaging in projects related to teaching and learning in higher education led by the Centre.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary for Assistant Lecturer, and 15% of basic salary for Lecturer. Other benefits include annual leave and professional leave, medical benefits, and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries.
