Assistant Director, Communications and Public Relations (at the rank of Administrative Assistant II) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 524645) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor's degree, with about 10 years' full- time work experience in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); outstanding organisational, communication, project management and problem-solving skills; a high level of computer literacy; the ability to multitask under pressure, work well both independently and in a team, as well as work with people from a broad range of backgrounds internally and externally.
The appointee will support the Faculty's Communications and Public Relations Team in planning, developing and implementing corporate communications strategies for brand promotion. He / She will be responsible for developing and implementing effective public relations strategies and campaigns to enhance HKU Business School's brand image and reputation. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding and experience of event management and public relations practices.
