Assistant Director (at the rank of Administrative Assistant I (AAI)) in the Admissions Office of the Registry (Ref.: 531149)

We are looking for an Assistant Director to join the Admissions Office of the Registry.

The Role

The appointee is required to lead the data team in data consolidation and management and to facilitate strategic planning in the University's admissions via data analysis. He/She is also required to collaborate with different teams and offices to devise and implement the strategic plan on student admissions, facilitate the Section's communication with different stakeholders such as Faculties and departments on admissions-related matters, and perform any other duties as assigned. The appointee may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends.

Qualifications and Qualities

Applicants should have a good University degree and at least 10 years' work experience in the education or related sector, of which at least 4 years should be at supervisory or management level. They should have an excellent command of English and Chinese (both oral and written), be a good team leader and player, and have strong organisational and interpersonal skills. They should also be able to demonstrate capacity for independent action and initiative. Experience in admissions administration in tertiary institutions is preferred.

What We Offer

The appointment will be made on a full-time fixed-term contract for 2 years, to commence as soon as possible. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
