An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Management Accounting team at Aston University. The team is responsible for all aspects of management reporting, budget and 5 year planning, forecasting and business partnering. By providing a comprehensive financial overview, the team is well positioned to support strategic decision making across the organisation.

You will contribute to a number of key areas across the team. This will include assisting with month and year end processes, management reporting and external returns.

Previous experience in finance and strong Excel skills are essential. Good problem solving and analytical skills will be required, with the ideal candidate being enthusiastic, able to interact with budget holders at all levels, looking to contribute to the development of the wider team and will be either degree educated, AAT qualified, ACCA/CIMA/ACA part qualified or equivalent.
