The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Asset Planning Engineer to join the Building and Property Division. This role will be responsible for overseeing electrical infrastructure upgrades to support our full-campus electrification program, which includes the removal of all existing gas-fired equipment. This position will be pivotal in guiding our decision and capital expenditure requirements, in order to provide best value for money whilst aligning with our broader organisational objectives.
This is a career-defining position which will see you take full responsibility for the electrical infrastructure and forward-looking requirements of the University. We are on an exciting journey toward Net Zero 2030 and your expertise within the electrical realm will be highly valued as we balance electrification of all our campuses with sustainability and energy-saving initiatives.
This position is also responsible for establishing and maintaining design and development controls that maximise the quality and environmental performance of newly constructed or refurbished building and site services.
