Full Time, 6 month (Fixed term contract with potential for extension)

Oxford Brookes University is looking to recruit an experienced, reliable and highly motivated Archibus Legal & Lease Management Administrator as a member of the Corporate Property Management team to populate the extensive portfolio of estate records onto a centralised system to streamline data entry, automate transactional information-gathering and management and improve the current analytic and reporting capabilities, all the while providing a high service level at a reduced cost. The Corporate Property Management Team play a proactive role within a motivated and innovative Department, delivering key objectives to meet directorate and university-wide requirements. Working hours for the post of Archibus Legal & Lease Management Administrator.

This is a full-time post which is 37 hours, typically Monday to Friday 8 am to 4.30 pm, but Oxford Brookes is supportive of flexible working, part-time working and job sharing. Overall Purpose of the post of Archibus Legal & Lease Management Administrator

To undertake a root and branch review of relevant ECS legal documentation, ensuring - with guidance from colleagues in Legal Services - that it is fit- for-purpose, complete in its compilation (not lacking in legal integrity such as execution flaws), before being uploaded onto the system in a structured manner by the appointee. This will be a discrete project and its success will rely upon the expertise and experience of a self-motivated and self-directed individual.

Qualifications and Experience for the post of Archibus Legal & Lease Management Administrator

Qualifications : Qualified Solicitor, Surveyor, or highly competent Legal Executive or Senior Paralegal

Experience required for post :

● Extensive experience in the commercial real estate sector (relevant experience could include leasing, conveyancing, mortgages, property insurance, property asset transfers/investment)

● Experience in working with property and estate management systems as well as managing property information requirements.

● Significant experience of problem-solving and simplifying systems through demonstrable experience in software management.

● Up-to-date knowledge of English property record legislation, including remedies.

● Experience of managing property information requirements (to help bring an understanding of operational impacts and to deliver efficiencies).
