About the role
Staffordshire University is currently one of the largest providers of degree apprenticeships with work-integrated learning central to the university's vision for next generation education, experience, and engagement.
This role is for a member of the apprenticeship team at the university working on supporting employers to recruit suitable apprentices across multiple apprenticeship standards. The role involves supporting with all aspects of apprenticeship recruitment including interviewing applicants to ensure suitability for the job role whilst guaranteeing applicants meet the university entry criteria for apprenticeships. The post holder will work closely with staff within the schools to ensure employers and applicants are kept up to date with any changes. The role requires individuals to play an active role in events supporting Apprenticeship recruitment.

Main Responsibilities
Proactively attract new apprentices to employer apprenticeship vacancies
Conduct interviews with applicants to ensure eligibility for the apprenticeship and suitability for the job role advertised by the employer
Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders within academic schools at the university to enhance identification of apprenticeship opportunities.
Promote an understanding of statutory and funding regulations to new and existing employer partners and potential apprentices
Co-ordinate and deliver apprenticeship talks to schools, college's and employer partners
Contribute to and develop local and regional networks to raise Staffordshire University's profile.
Represent the University externally and actively develop and influence local and regional networks and partnerships.
Attend internal and external events to raise the profile of Apprenticeships at Staffordshire University
