About the role

Staffordshire University has successfully bid for funding allocated by the Office for Students (OfS) for degree level apprenticeships this will support the university's ambitions to significantly grow its degree apprenticeship provision. Staffordshire University is currently one of the largest providers of degree apprenticeships with work-integrated learning central to the university's vision for next generation education, experience, and engagement.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Administrator providing administrative support to ensure the Office for Students (OfS) Degree Apprenticeship funding project management arrangements are evidenced evaluated and available for monitoring. Assisting with the compliance of the Office for Students (OfS) monitoring requirements for each reporting period. The post holder will provide direct coordination to support activities for external and internal stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

Provide effective and efficient administrative and operations coordination support to the Apprenticeship Team for the Office for Students (OfS) Degree Apprenticeship Funding Competition.

Support the organisation of meetings, seminars, conferences, or other service- related events to increase engagement with the project.

Support the Apprenticeship Team to track and monitor the objectives of the project reporting on the delivery against our agreed targets and success criteria.

Guided by the Apprenticeship Project Manager and service lead, undertake data look up and entry activities to ensure all data for apprentices is accurately reported.

Provide support with the production of accurate and detailed reports, updates, and evidence to meet monitoring requirements, adhering to deadlines set by external bodies.

To liaise with internal and external stakeholders on administration issues to maintain a positive working relationship.

To undertake any other reasonable duties as determined by the Apprenticeship Project Manager or member of the Management Team.
