    About the Role:

    As an Application Analyst within our Information Technology Services team, you will play a pivotal role in the management, maintenance, and support of our Higher and Further Education-specific student information systems. This full- time position reports to the Lead Application Analyst for Student Lifecycle Systems and your primary responsibility will be ensuring the optimal performance and availability of these critical systems to support the unique needs of our learners and educators.

    You'll have a degree, or be part qualified in a relevant professional qualification appropriate to the specific role. The role demands significant experience in supporting FE student-related applications/systems, a robust understanding of database systems and Unit-e experience would be extremely advantageous. You'll be expected to navigate the complexities of service transitions, incident resolution, and system enhancements with agility and precision. Collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers will be key to delivering seamless updates and maintaining system integrity.

    This role is not just about technical skills; it's about being a flexible, creative team player who can manage tight deadlines and engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders across the institution. You will also contribute to the strategic direction of IT Services by staying abreast of industry developments and leveraging technology to enhance our educational and operational goals.
