The Opportunity
Unlock a fulfilling career as an Animal Technologist and become a crucial part of our mission of supporting the Faculty's research base and providing management and care services for animals through general, technical and medical procedures under the frameworks of established policies.
Your role is pivotal in ensuring the maintenance of accurate, timely records for researchers, providing constant optimum animal welfare conditions and supervising junior staff in undertaking similar duties. Additionally, this position extends to addressing concerns, participating in investigations and implementing improvements to enhance animal welfare and overall operations.
We are seeking someone with a completion of a Diploma of Applied Science (Animal Technology) or who is on track to completing it with relevant work- related experience. Your strong passion for working with animals and a collaborative, collegial work ethic are qualities we will value.
