  • About the Role Launch your career in a thriving environment! Join our dynamic Advancement team as an Alumni Relations (AR) Support Officer. This role offers the chance to make a real impact, supporting the Director and program leads with strategic initiatives, alumni connections, and program delivery. Collaborate in a high-performing team to strengthen alumni relations and propel the University's engagement strategy forward.

    Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide exceptional customer service in AR Shared Service, aligning with university's alumni strategy.
  • Assist Director in operational planning and coordination of alumni communities.
  • Collaborate with faculty clusters and shared services teams for alumni engagement.
  • Manage global alumni engagement programs, events, and finances efficiently.
  • Who we are looking for You will be an ideal candidate with exceptional interpersonal skills honed in customer service roles, showcasing a dedication to delivering outstanding client experiences while handling sensitive information discreetly and professionally. You will draw on your superior written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills to liaise with diverse range of stakeholders.

    You will also have:

  • Appropriate undergraduate qualification in a relevant discipline together with moderate experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Excellent skills in juggling competing tasks and deadlines, demonstrating sensitivity and strong relationship-building skills across diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in a range of computer applications, including the Microsoft Office suite, Event Management programs and experience using CRM systems.

    This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to- date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
