Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences
Applications are invited for an Alumni Relations Manager, based in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences Communications team and working closely with the expanding Postgraduate Programme teams across the department.
The successful applicant will develop and implement the departmental strategy for alumni relations and alumni communications with a view to enhancing the engagement of alumni with the department in support of fundraising objectives and to promote the department's further career pathways.
Responsibilities will include acting as the first point of contact at the department for alumni and developing content for alumni communications. You will establish strong working relationships with the University Development Office, and Medical Sciences Division Development team to ensure co-ordinated donor relationships and fundraising activities.
You will have a background in alumni relations, communications and/or development, excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to inspire the confidence of senior colleagues.
You will be based in the Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG as your normal place of work but you will be able to agree a pattern of regular hybrid working with your line manager.
The position is funded for two years in the first instance with the possibility of extension.
