Qualifications
The applicant may be requested to authorize the College to procure a consumer report(s) for employment purposes.

Qualifications| Required knowledge and skills | Knowledge of CNA/CMA and KDADs course content and computer literacy required. Required personal attributes include integrity, emotional maturity, dependability, and effective communication skills. Knowledge of adult education methods and theories preferred. |

| Required experience | A minimum of two years of demonstrated nursing experience (at least one year in long term care) is required. Preferred experience: experience as teacher within a nursing related program or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting. |
| Required educational background | A current license to practice nursing in the state of Kansas. Education at least one level above nursing courses being taught (i.e. LPN for CNA/CMA courses). Preferred education: ADN or BSN. |
