  • Role Description

We currently have an excellent opportunity for an Airport Operations Administrator to work efficiently within a small airport team including Operations, Safety, Air Traffic Control, Engineering, Fire Fighting, and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles sections, whilst prioritising safety.

Cranfield Airport is a commercial, research and General Aviation (GA) airport situated between Bedford and Milton Keynes, and is the home base to many corporate and private aircraft owners.

This role will be required to carry out project coordination and associated airport administration as part of developing Cranfield Airport's capability, particularly with respect to remotely piloted aircrafts/unmanned aerial vehicles (drones). This will include Airport document control, including monitoring of Regulatory compliance aspects and formally issuing documentation, ensuring crane permit applications are being charged via Airport Accounts, raising/requesting purchase orders, to prepare for and attend project progress and periodic review meetings as well as general office management tasks and processing Airside pass application forms. You will also be required to undertake the airfield movement area inspections.

You will have a good standard of education to include GSCE English and Mathematics with experience of supporting the efficient delivery of projects. You will possess a variety of online IT skills including video conferencing, workflow management and document control. You will be a highly self-motivated individual with a proactive approach and be able to communicate effectively at all levels within a diverse working environment. You will also hold a valid UK Driving Licence.

For an informal discussion, please contact Anthony Fenwick, Airport Operations Manager, on (T); +44 (0)1234 75 4797 or (E); [email protected]
