Job description
External Engagement and Global (EEG) / Admissions
This full time post is available immediately on a fixed term basis until 31 December 2024. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
Summary of the role
The Admissions Systems Development and Communications Officer post offers you an exciting opportunity to become involved in a wide range of activities that supports both the Admissions team and University communications.
This varied role supports the annual lifecycle of the Admissions SITS and SRS activities, as well as supporting outbound admissions communications across SITS and CRM. You will lead on the production of marketing campaign datasets and conduct QA audits, checks and technical problem resolution on several Admissions facing systems.
The post-holder will help guide and support the continuous development of the application form and gateway and support service improvements to Admissions systems. In addition to the main duties described below, the post holder will be required to support other areas within the wider Admissions team.
We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is methodical, logical and enjoys data analysis and problem solving. They must be an excellent communicator, eager to learn and support others, as well as being keen on the improvement and development of processes.
The post-holder must have excellent IT, data analysis and organisational skills, including the ability to manage and prioritise their own workload and be able to work flexibly under pressure and to tight deadlines, as well as having previous experience of delivering excellent customer service.
We are seeking someone who has significant experience of SITS and the ability to follow a complex set of procedures, while maintaining outstanding attention to detail. An understanding of admissions processes would be an advantage.
The Admissions office is currently operating a hybrid approach to work with a combination of office and home-based working; the majority of which is currently based at home but with the expectation that you can regularly work in the office as required.
Please ensure you read the Job Description and Person Specification for full details of this role.
