This full-time post is available immediately on a fixed term basis until 24/12/2024 and offers to opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some time working from home.
The Admissions Department is a busy dynamic team, dealing with over 65,000 applications a year across Undergraduate and Postgraduate provision. Admissions deal with a large volume of enquiries via telephone, email and face to face focusing on providing an excellent service to our applicants and pre- applicants. Admissions deal with a wide range of topics including entry requirements, application processes and statutory requirements such as UKVI, CMA and GDPR.
Admissions are based on two campuses; Streatham and Penryn, and this post is based in Streatham as an Admissions Supervisor in the Undergraduate team. This role offers the opportunity for blended working with the expectation that the role holder would come into the office/ on campus an average of 2 days per week.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Admissions Supervisor to join our thriving Admissions Team. We are looking for someone who will put our applicants and offer-holders at the heart of their daily work, who prioritises the delivery of excellent customer service, and understands the value of their contribution to our team.
You will be part of a friendly and supportive team environment. We care a great deal about the importance of working within a team where work/life balance is taken very seriously and strongly encouraged.
We are looking for the role-holder to demonstrate a combination of excellent organisational and administrative skills, with meticulous attention to detail. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to providing world leading customer service and be an integral team player. Ideally, we are looking for people who understand admissions processes and qualifications. We would also expect a good working knowledge of a large database which supports admissions such as SITS.
You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills in order to respond in a calm, clear and friendly manner to enquiries from applicants as well to our internal stakeholders. You will also be expected to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to form good working relationships with fellow admissions staff, key colleagues from our Faculties, the International Recruitment Team and other relevant stakeholders within the University.
