Position Information:

NWHSU is seeking an Admissions Marketing Coordinator to support the university's enrollment goals by executing marketing strategies that attract, engage, and retain prospective students. This position requires a strong understanding of the prospective student journey and enrollment process, with the ability to translate recruitment priorities into effective marketing tactics at each stage. The Admissions Marketing Coordinator will collaborate closely with admissions, marketing, academic program leaders, and university partners to ensure accurate and up-to-date program information and develop a strong understanding of NWHSU's academic programs, prospective student audiences, competitive differentiators, and enrollment priorities. This highly collaborative and execution-focused role coordinates stakeholders, resources, and timelines across multiple departments to move projects forward while maintaining alignment with NWHSU brand guidelines and program-specific goals. 

Work Location: Bloomington, MN with flexibility to work 1-2 days per week remotely; must live local and be able to come to campus as needed

Duties:

  • Manage admissions email marketing campaigns, including writing, building, scheduling, monitoring, and optimizing communications to engage prospective students and support enrollment goals.
  • Partner with Admissions Counselors and internal stakeholders to develop recruitment-focused marketing materials, presentations, communications, and other resources that support outreach, relationship building, and enrollment efforts.
  • Manage and maintain the admissions collateral library, including print, digital, and video materials, ensuring content is accurate, current, and compelling; identify gaps and coordinate updates or new materials as needed.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing and communication campaign performance, using data and key metrics to evaluate effectiveness.
  • Coordinate marketing support and event-related materials, including web updates, social media, design and print services, content development, and presentation templates
  • Support the planning and execution of four annual on-campus Discovery Days, including direct mail, email, and other promotional campaigns.
  • Support the promotion and execution of travel recruiting events by coordinating text communications, sign-in materials, posters, online registration forms, and other recruitment resources.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, academic leaders, marketing partners and the enrollment team, to support strategic enrollment objectives.
  • Manage admissions promotional item and giveaway inventory, including ordering, replenishment, and sourcing new items based on recruitment needs.
  • Other marketing and admissions related duties, as assigned.

What you need to have?

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communication, journalism or related field or equivalent related experience, required
  • 1-3 years relevant experience in marketing, communications, admissions, or related field
  • Experience writing marketing content, social media, email campaigns, events, or digital marketing, preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing priorities and business needs
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with Salesforce, Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement), or similar CRM and marketing automation platforms, preferred

Compensation:

$23.50 - $29.37 per hour.

The hiring rate is determined by a combination of education, related professional experience, and internal equity considerations and may exceed the posted range. NWHSU is committed to fair and equitable pay practices and does not base compensation decisions on gender or any other protected status.
