Description
The Enquiries and Admissions Department is a dynamic, thriving and crucial area of the University dealing with a range of applications during periods of high intensity. Proactive and enthusiastic individuals are required to join the team with responsibility for Undergraduate and Postgraduate admissions. Under the direction of the Admissions Team Leader and UCAS Specialist and as a team member you will contribute to the delivery of a customer focused, cost effective and efficient admissions service. These posts are placed within a team with a diverse range of responsibilities including database work, assessing applications including qualifications and liaising with staff and applicants.
You will need to be flexible, willing to engage with the work and capable of prioritising and organising your workload effectively. It is essential that you have good IT skills, excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, be able to pay good attention to detail and have experience of working within a fast paced office environment. An understanding of or experience of working in a Higher Education environment would be desirable.
