Administrator, Mireille Gillings Neuroimaging Centre

Job description

Education and Academic Services

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

This new full-time post is available from 1st April 2024 for 2 years on a fixed-term basis.

Summary of the role

An exciting opportunity has arising to join the Mireille Gillings Neuroimaging Centre (MGNC) and support the operation of this new imaging facility, which is a collaboration with the NHS on the site of the Royal Devon University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (RDUH).

This administrative role is required to support the MGNC Business Manager and the MGNC team in the day-to-day running of the facility. This is a dynamic and fast-paced clinical and research environment, and this role will provide key administration support to a number of colleagues across the Centre.

The successful applicant will have a ‘can do' attitude, be able to demonstrate initiative, be well-organised, and, be able to communicate with a diverse range of people including external stakeholders and NHS collaborative partners. The successful candidate will have excellent administration and organisational skills, and prior experience in providing administrative support. The ability to work independently is crucial.

Please ensure you read the Job Description and Person Specification for full details of this role.
