This is a varied and busy role, undertaking a broad range of tasks such as diary management, arranging meetings and travel, maintenance of a database of publications, raising purchase requisitions and the managing of expense claims. You will liaise with colleagues withing the DPHPC and across the wider University as well as international collaborators.

You will have previous experience of working in an administrative role, as well as working effectively within a small team, with strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload and to work independently, along with excellent communication skills. You will be competent in standard Windows software packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience in working in a University administration environment would be an advantage.

This appointment is part-time (minimum of 21 hours per week), working days to be agreed with the Group Administrator.
