The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the core professional administrative team within the fast-paced Academic Administration department at the University of West London.

You will provide essential, high quality administrative support for the College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare Department and deliver a range of core activities throughout the student journey to enhance the student experience. You will cover a range of duties for a variety of courses: being the first point of contact for any student enquiries; supporting inductions and enrolments throughout the year; assisting with the preparation and conduct of our assessment boards.

You will be expected to demonstrate excellent communication skills and build positive and effective relationships with the wider University community, students and stakeholders including our external bodies.

The Person

The successful candidate will be an effective communicator and team player, able to prioritise their workload whilst maintaining strong attention to detail and have a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.

Successful applicants should be educated to degree level or equivalent, have previous administrative experience, ideally in a HEI, and able to operate multiple IT systems.

The University

We were also named University of the Year for Student Experience in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021, being described by the editor as “regularly among the top-performing universities” and proving that “it is possible for a London-based institution to achieve outstanding levels of student satisfaction beyond other universities”.

Over the last few years, we have invested more than £150 million into our campus to create an inspiring social and learning environment for students.
