The Department of Physics at Lancaster University is seeking to appoint a part-time Administrative Assistant. As day-to-day point of contact, you will be central to the department, working closely with the Departmental Administrator and colleagues to provide proactive operational support in all areas of the daily running of the department. This role gives you the opportunity to gain experience of working in a busy department with academic staff and students.

ABOUT YOU

You will:

  • Have strong organisational skills and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be a self-motivated team player and also be able to work on your own.
  • Have experience of providing excellent customer service in a busy and varied office environment.
  • Have experience in Microsoft Office packages.
