Job Summary

Provide administrative support to the Department of Human Resources and the Payroll Department. Perform a variety of administrative and fiscal job duties while providing excellent customer service and support. Some duties include acting as receptionist, employment verifications, and budget support.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience providing administrative or program support.
  • Working knowledge of current office software such as Microsoft Office.
  • Extensive customer service experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively with diverse customers and employees.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate tasks and work independently without supervision to completion.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of information and data.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks under competing deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Additional Considerations

  • Working knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Experience providing budgetary support.
  • Executive-level administrative support experience in an academic environment.
  • Working knowledge of eVA, Banner, ChromeRiver, and PeopleAdmin.
