Administrative Assistant II (holding the functional title of Senior Programme Manager) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 531268) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good bachelor's degree, preferably a master's degree, with at least 8 years' full-time work experience in the field of talent acquisition, recruitment, learning and development, and student career advising or related fields. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (both Putonghua and Cantonese), great organisational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work on their own initiatives and within a team. Pursuit of quality work and efficiency, excellent time management and problem-solving skills, professional work attitude and a high level of computer literacy are all essential qualities. They should excel in teamwork, attentive to details with the ability to handle multiple tasks and be capable of working independently.

The appointee will assist in overseeing the operation of the Career and Corporate Development programmes offered to undergraduate students. He/she is expected to work closely and foster strong relationships with different stakeholders, including but not limited to corporate partners/professional bodies, external coaches/mentors/training providers, and alumni and derive impactful career development initiatives for undergraduate students in higher education, ideally from a Business School. He/she should have a proven track record in creating impactful career development learning and development curriculums for students in higher education, ideally from a Business School. Having a strong understanding of the different career development needs of students at the undergraduate level is critical. He/she will also engage in organising various career-oriented events, supervise clerical staff and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned, and may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
