THE ROLE

Salary Package: From $74,062 (HEW Level 4), plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading Appointment Type: Full time, Fixed Term (4 month contract) Location: Macquarie University, Wallumattagal Campus, Dharug land, North Ryde

Macquarie University is seeking a Student Mobility Administration Assistant to support the University's global student mobility programs, promotions, events and strategies. In this role, you will assist with the coordination, preparation, and promotion of the mobility programs to prospective students.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Advise coursework students regarding:
  • - eligibility to undertake mobility programs - mobility program costs and funding, including scholarship - unit pre-requisites and equivalences.

  • Administer student enrolments and grade transfers in AMIS.

  • Provide support to the Student Mobility team across finance functions, e.g., administering OS-HELP and scholarship payments.

  • Contribute to internal and external reporting as applicable.

  • Relevant diploma level qualification with demonstrated relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of demonstrated relevant experience and/or education/training.

  • Demonstrated strong administrative and organisational abilities, including the use of Microsoft 365.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.

  • Understanding of i) student information systems and ii) enterprise finance systems.

  • Previous experience in a student-facing administrative role in a university environment.
