Background of the recruitment and description of the project Background of the recruitment and description of the project The College of Global Liberal Arts (GLA) at Ritsumeikan University is seeking an Adjunct Lecturer to teach a course called “LAHU 1201 Introduction to Religion".

Work content and job description Duties and Responsibilities -Teach a “LAHU 1201 Introduction to Religion" course, which is 1 class sessions (lecture and tutorial) per week in Fall Semester 2024. This course is for the first to fourth-year students who are registered in the English- based degree program at GLA. This course introduces students to basic questions and themes in religious studies. Through a study of classical and canonical texts, students will learn different methodologies for understanding religion and interpreting religious beliefs and practices. -Conduct other duties relevant to teaching, including meeting with students as necessary, grading and giving feedback, writing a syllabus. -The course timetable may possibly be rearranged in the scale of the overall balance.
