About the Real Estate Program The Real Estate program at the University at Buffalo is the only real estate program in the SUNY System. The Masters program provides a fusion of academic rigor and real-world applicability that not only positions graduates for success, but also underscores our commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders in the ever-evolving realm of real estate. Students explore complex trends including place-making and urban design, mixed-income housing and community development, suburban transformation, sustainable development, energy innovation and the effects of AI and other technology in the workplace. The newly launched Minor in Real Estate and Urban Development provides students with an introduction to real estate as an academic area of inquiry, and a possible pathway to SUNY’s only Master of Science in Real Estate Development program.
