Job Title: Adjunct Instructor (Various Business Disciplines) Department: Business Administration and Economics College: College of Arts and Sciences Reports To: Department Chair or Designee Employment Status: Part-Time, Temporary, Course-by-Course FLSA Status: Exempt Location: Fort Valley, Georgia, or online, as assigned

Fort Valley State University invites applications for a pool of adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate courses within the Department of Business Administration and Economics.

Teaching areas may include:

Appointments are temporary and made on a course-by-course basis for fall, spring, or summer terms. Courses may be offered in face-to-face, hybrid, or online formats.

Placement in the adjunct pool does not guarantee an interview, course assignment, or continued employment. Assignments are based on enrollment, funding, scheduling, departmental needs, qualifications, and satisfactory performance.

For selected applied or specialized courses, significant professional experience, licensure, certification, or other relevant credentials may be considered in accordance with University credentialing standards.

Adjunct appointments are temporary part-time and course-based with no guarantee of continued employment. Compensation is set per course. Assignments depend on enrollment, funding and performance.
