General Description of Position
The CADD Instructor is responsible for instructing students in various courses in a classroom/laboratory setting. Teaching assignments for this position include, but are not limited to; Design Drafting Concepts, Basic Computer Aided Drafting, 3-D Solid Modeling, Architectural Design with Revit, Principles & Materials of Construction, Architectural Planning, Building Structures, Building Systems, Structural Steel Design with SDS/2, Commercial Construction, Topographic/Civil Drafting, Professional Practice-Architectural, Construction for Americans with Disabilities, Cooperative Education I & II – Drafting. The instructor develops course objectives, implements teaching strategies, advises students, monitors and evaluates student progress and keeps accurate student records, keeps course information current to industry needs, and tracks industry trends.
Minimum Qualifications
A 4-year Skilled and Technical Sciences degree may substitute for the degree/experience requirement.
