Position Summary
The Raymond A. Mason School of Business at William & Mary is recruiting a pool of adjunct faculty (Section Leaders) to lead one or more 7.5-week course sections within the Online Master of Science in Finance (MSF) program.
The Online MSF program is centered on four pillars—principled value creation; financial modeling, analysis and decision-making; global financial strategy; and effective communication of complex financial information and strategies. These are the conceptual and technical skills every financial professional must possess and fully master in order to find near and long-term success in corporate finance, investment management, real estate finance, commercial banking, consulting and more. Section Leaders serve a vital role within the Online MSF program and are valued members of the Raymond A. Mason School of Business and the William & Mary community. Under the supervision of the Master Teacher, Section Leaders facilitate their assigned course section(s) by posting course announcements, engaging in discussion boards, offering weekly office hours, responding to student inquiries, monitoring student progress, grading student assignments, and providing students with substantive, timely feedback.
Position duties include:
Section Leaders typically spend 15 to 20 hours per week on the duties listed above.
Selected candidates must demonstrate proficiency using the learning management system and knowledge of applicable policies and procedures by completing all required training and orientation activities prior to the term start date.
