| Primary Purpose and Essential Functions | The Department of Public Policy Programs seeks a public service academic or professional to teach Introduction to Law for Public Administration (3 units) in the Spring semester. The course will be offered in a synchronous, online format mostly in the evening to accommodate the schedules of students who are also working professionals. Adjunct professors are part-time, non-tenure employees, contracted via mutually signed offer letters, to teach specific classes during specific semesters (specific dates) as outlined in the offer letter. The department’s faculty draw from the region’s most distinguished academics and professionals and offers a wealth of practical and focused experience to our students. With diverse and accomplished faculty, students can experience different pedagogical approaches and gain access to leading practitioners. Using practical experience, our faculty are able to educate students on the current and future practices of government, especially those happening at the state level in California. |
