Special Instructions to Applicants Courses needing adjunct instruction vary from semester to semester. Assignments are determined based on expertise of applicants. Applications for this position will be accepted on an ongoing basis and will be reviewed as needed.
Job Summary This position covers occasional adjunct teaching responsibilities in the dance program. This can include courses in dance history and theory, as well as in studio technique, depending on candidate's area of expertise and qualifications.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Be responsive to students and director/staff via USM email.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
MFA or PhD in Dance or appropriate related field from an Accredited College or University, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience instructing dance in a higher education setting.
