Adjunct Faculty – Cybersecurity - Missouri Baptist University (Mobap)

Position Information:

Missouri Baptist University is looking to hire an Adjunct Instructor of Cybersecurity in the School of Accounting, Business Administration and Technology within the Robert W. Plaster College of Business and Entrepreneurship Opportunities are available for online and in-person instruction at the undergraduate graduate level. Local candidates are encouraged to teach on our St. Louis-area campus. Day and evening availability is a plus.  Prepare and teach courses as assigned in the field of study for which they are hired from a Biblical worldview to enhance student learning outcomes.

Responsibilities/ Essential Job Duties

• Classroom Preparation & Instruction as per policy w/faith integration
• Professional and Scholarly Productivity in degree field
• Service to Institution

Minimum Education/Experience

• Earned master’s degree in the field of study with an undergraduate degree in the same or similar field of study (cybersecurity, information security, computer science, or related technical discipline).
• Professional and scholarly accomplishments deemed exemplary and sufficient, or an individual who has an approved dissertation topic.
• Personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior with membership and active involvement in a local church.  A commitment to teach and perform duties consistent with and not contrary to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
• Teaching experience at the higher education level.
• Cybersecurity experience.

Preferred Education/Experience

• Earned doctorate in the desired business field of study a master’s and undergraduate degree in the same or very similar field of study.  All degrees conferred by an AACSB or ACBSP accredited institution.
• Personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior with membership and active involvement in a local church.  A commitment to teach and perform duties consistent with and not contrary to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
• Two or more years of teaching experience at the higher education level.
• Three or more years of upper-level cybersecurity experience.
• Industry relevant certification(s)
• Canvas Learning Management System
