DUTIES

The successful candidate will assist with all activities scheduled for the intensive non-credit English language programs. Classes are typically multi- levelled and comprised of students from diverse linguistic and sociocultural backgrounds. The activity assistant must be prepared to participate in all scheduled recreational and cultural activities, responsible for confirming these events. They must actively engage with students on all activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should possess the following attributes:

  • great attention to detail
  • ability to handle cash and maintain accurate records of expenditures
  • able to anticipate needs and solve problems
  • strong written and oral communication skills
  • be able to participate in all recreational activities
  • ability to communicate effectively with all members of the International Training Centre team
  • Current first aid certification would be an asset.

    All positions are subject to final approval of contracts.

    Police Information Checks are required

    $18 - $27 per hour depending on experience and education
