    About the Role

    You will provide training and support to Academic Unit Timetablers and support the roles of Senior Business Analyst: Timetable and the Business Analyst: Enrolment. You will also manage the data quality in the Syllabus Plus (timetable) and Medici (PeopleSoft) databases, undertake reporting and maintain currency in the documentation of timetable processes, work practices, procedures and training material, to ensure these practices are effectively implemented across the university.

    About the Student and Academic Services Unit

    The Student and Academic Services Unit (SAS) provides senior leadership in student and academic administration in a distributed service environment. It is responsible for the development and maintenance of policy, information systems and procedural frameworks. The Unit coordinates and provides quality assurance for a number of University functions including student admissions, enrolments, examinations, graduations, student finance and scholarships.

    Essential Skills and Experience

  • Undergraduate qualification in a business degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in high level Syllabus Plus or equivalent scheduling or rostering system
  • Demonstrated ability in the development of training materials and the delivery of training
  • Interpersonal, verbal, and written skills appropriate for communicating with all levels of university staff, students and general public
  • Demonstrated organisational ability that includes experience in meeting deadlines, prioritising competing demands and an ability to use initiative and work both with minimal supervision and as a member of a team
