About the Role This is an opportunity for an outstanding administrator, with experience in the higher education sector, to provide critical support in the coordination and administration of academic programs to ensure the quality and effectiveness of teaching and learning with the Schools.
The Academic Support Coordinator (ASC) will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of colleagues across the School and Faculty of Science with a focus on providing critical support to the Team Leader, Academic Support, to deliver a wide variety of academic services. This includes providing high-level academic administration, event coordination, financial administration and resolving complex queries from staff and students.
The ASC will be responsible for ensuring the School website, Learning Management System (LMS), and published resources are continually updated to reflect program changes and support students and staff through these changes. Importantly, the ASC will engage various stakeholders and to provide them with current and accurate reporting of student enrolment and academic programs.
You must have a strong understanding of University administration, and demonstrated experience in a similar role.

The incumbent will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise with a range of people internal and external to the University, and the ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
A high degree of initiative and self-management to deal with the range of projects and tasks involved is critical to the role, as well as well-developed organisational, time management and problem-solving ability.
You will be self-motivated and flexible in responding to changing work priorities, with the capacity to work independently and as a member of a team and demonstrate a commitment to the delivery of excellent customer service and continuous improvement to the standard of service.
